Massage therapists in Ontario must complete rigorous schooling and complete provincial examinations to be registered under the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Demanding education trains future therapists to assess, understand and treat a limitless number of soft tissue conditions. Training includes an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, assessment, treatment and exercise.
Massage Therapy is a manual manipulation of soft body tissues to enhance a person’s health and well-being.

Deep Muscle Stripping & Compression: Reduces and eliminates deep muscle pain
Relaxing & Gentle Muscle Kneading: Soothes tired and aching muscles
Percussion: Improves muscle perception and aids in congestion relief
Fascial Release: Releases adhered or poorly moving structures to improve range of motion
Myo-Fascial Release: Breaks down painful and restricting adhesions in muscles
Trigger Point Release: Specific point compression used to eliminate troublesome trigger points aka “knots”
Lymphatic Drainage: Aids in management of lymphedema and increases circulation
Joint Mobilizations: Restores lost range of motion and enhances joint health
Rhythmic Mobilizations: Alleviates holding patterns and restores posture
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation’ (PNF) Stretching: Increases muscle length and decreases muscle spasms

Due to a high number of last minute cancellations and missed appointments, any massage therapy appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be subjected to a $50 cancellation fee per 30 minutes of appointment time.
