Helping You Move, Function and Feel Stronger

Kinesiology is the science of human movement.

Kinesiology at LiquidGym

The Science of Human Movement.

At LiquidGym, our Registered Kinesiologists work one-on-one with you to understand how you move, identify areas that may be limiting your function, and develop an individualized exercise program based on your needs and goals.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, rebuilding strength after surgery, or simply trying to improve your mobility and physical function, our goal is to help you move with greater strength, confidence and independence.

Your Assessment

Your Program Starts With You.

No two people move exactly the same way, which is why your program begins with an individualized assessment.

Your Kinesiologist will take the time to understand your health history, current abilities, challenges and personal goals.

Your assessment may look at areas such as:

  • Functional movement
  • Strength
  • Range of motion
  • Balance
  • Coordination
  • Mobility
  • Posture
  • Endurance
  • Your ability to perform everyday activities

The information gathered during your assessment helps your Kinesiologist develop a program specifically for you.

Land and Water

Land and Water: Using the Right Environment for You.

One of the things that makes LiquidGym different is our experience integrating land-based exercise and aquatic exercise.

Depending on your needs and goals, your Kinesiologist may recommend land-based exercise, aquatic exercise, or a combination of both.

Land-Based Kinesiology

Land-based sessions focus on functional movement, strength, balance, mobility and endurance that translate directly into everyday life.

No dependence on large specialized equipment. Your Kinesiologist uses functional movements, resistance, body weight and a variety of tools to progressively challenge you.

Aquatic Therapy

For some individuals, exercising in water is another valuable option. Water reduces the body weight placed through the joints while providing resistance in multiple directions, so movements that are difficult on land become possible.

Your Kinesiologist will determine whether land, water, or a combination of both is most appropriate for your program.

How We Work With You

One-on-One Care.

At LiquidGym, kinesiology is about more than completing a workout.

Your Kinesiologist works directly with you to make sure your program is appropriate for your abilities and progresses as you improve.

Your program can be adjusted as your strength, mobility, endurance and confidence change.

We also want you to understand why you are doing each exercise and how it relates to the activities that are important to you.

Where This Leads

From Rehabilitation to Independence.

Our goal is not to have you depend on us forever.

As you progress, your Kinesiologist can help you develop the knowledge, strength and confidence to become increasingly independent with your exercise.

For some people, kinesiology may be part of the rehabilitation process. For others, it may provide ongoing support for maintaining strength, mobility, function and an active lifestyle.

Whatever your starting point, we meet you where you are and help you work toward where you want to be.

Final Step

Start With a Kinesiology Assessment.

Your first step is an individualized assessment, built from data captured with multiple measurement tools, so we can better understand your movement, abilities and goals.

From there, your Kinesiologist will recommend a program designed specifically for you.
