Kristen Sarlo B.A.H.Sc (Athletic Therapy), CAT (C), R.Kin

Kristen earned her degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College where she gained valuable experience working with a wide range of individuals. From young athletes to the weekend warriors, she has the skill set to assess and treat different populations tailoring each program of care to meet the needs of each client. Kristen has worked with a variety of varsity level athletes as a part of the Athletic Therapy team for both Algonquin College and Carleton University.  She is also a part time instructor teaching in the Fitness and Health Promotions program at Algonquin College.

As a former competitive soccer player, Kristen understands the demands on the body to live an active life and the benefits of appropriate injury prevention and rehabilitation. She has taken these experiences and has adopted an active hands-on approach to injury prevention with a focus on exercise prescription, manual therapy and client education.  Working in both clinical and field settings, Kristen has had the opportunity to help a variety of people achieve their goals. Whether it be to return to play or performing activities of daily living pain free. Kristen is a compassionate and enthusiastic Athletic Therapist dedicated to providing exceptional care to her clients in helping them to live their best lives.

  • Soft Tissue Release
  • Assessment and Treatment of Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries and Associated Spinal Dysfunction
  • Muscle Energy of the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis
  • Certification in K-Tape
  • Certification in Heart Wise Exercise Training
  • GLA:D Canada Instructor
